Future Tense II Now Recruiting

Where do I start? It'll have to be with the Constitution class. I can't believe you can make it look that perfect on a poly budget!!! !!! !!! Beyond that, I won't argue against any of your well-made points, but I might as well tell you what I was thinking when I did some of this stuff.
1. Flimsy, yes. Should rename the ship USS Brittle or USS Disintegrator or something. I just thought it might be excusable given the thinness of the Constitution wings for the nacelles. But yeah. Then the nacelles and engineering: just thought it would be a unique concept to have the upper deflector- didn't know about the "word of Roddenbury" dilemma. The nacelle configuration, though, was going to be a part of the ship's background. I was thinking about the fact that the Excelsior somehow had transwarp drive before Scotty sabotaged it, and I figured 'hey, why not make the Cruiser I'm constructing a bit interesting and let it be an earlier Fed foray into transwarp experimentation?' But no matter. Then the cylinder phaser guns- by the time I was working on them I'd already nearly depleted my polys, so I made them as basic as I could stand to. Miranda was inspiration, though... the ship even fires those laser-like phasers from The Wrath of Kahn, and red torpedoes to boot.
As for the rest of what you said; some of it I'll have to read over again while I'm actually making something, but a lot of it'll stick in my head pretty well. And I'm glad I didn't actually kitbash! But anyway, I suppose I'll call it a fair first try at a Kirk-era ship. I'll probably come back to it tomorrow. And last of all, way to take one more shot at the NX-Class! (First time I saw the thing from top view, I didn't even notice the difference.) Thanks a quadzillion!!!
PS: Hope you won't mind this little joke...

lol. The NX is harmless (in more ways than one) cant be all bad if she's in Future Tense and Future Tense II anyway lol.
As for you're unit, I'd buff up the nacelles a bit as they are worryingly thin, the design is good it just needs buffing up a little. I'll extend the TOS design range to include TMP but still Kirk's era if that helps the designing of the vessel

shanker,
Can you sound klingon? We could use some klingon voiceovers. If you want to help out, record a sample for us to take a listen to. To start, record something for "move", "attack" and "stop" voiceovers. If we think your recordings are good, we'll let you make other voiceovers as well for FT II

Doesn't have to be in the Klingon language. Take a listen to some klingon voiceovers that came with the game.uss_shanker wrote:erm i can do the klingon but ill need translattion for it simple word translation like
Perhaps. Before that can be decided, we will need to see if the voiceovers you record are goodalso in return would it possible for me to have specialy made ship wich i could use for any mod ill send the designs?

You can record the "red alert, all hands to battlestations" one as well.
