I was thinking to myself (oh come on, the Borg have thousands of ships in Borg space according to canon sources - why can't they just send at least 10 of them this time). :? Then the Enterprise-E going back in time with the Sphere and spoiling the Borg's plans! Why didn't the Borg just try that again - they may get away with it. The Borg are too busy thinking about how 'perfect' they are than actually trying something again and again. Eventually, something's gotta give. :P
The Borg speak through one voice and one collective mind. They may be organised, but they don't have the ideas that individuals have. 2 heads are better than one.

However, we have seen the Borg Queen(s) being quite clever.

I think some people dont get it. B&B just made VOY unrealistic. I mean, as Defiant kicks the poop out of a Intrepid but yet a borg cube almost destroyed the Defiant it self. But Voyager just destroys several cubes with no problem.
I think something isn't right here. Is it?

That was the ENT episode "Regeneration."

The borg from First contact are dug up in the ice caps. They assimilate some crew and a ship and make a run for the Delta quadrantr, but fail. However, they send a subspace message that would not be received until Picard's time, starting the Borg-Federation conflict.

The Voyager survived so long because it is a hero ship. Therefore, it was a invincible character in its own right.

Also I'm certain that the Cubes sent to assimilate earth were far larger than the ones that voyager laughs at daily, I figure the tactical cube are type4 the standard cube is type3 maybe perhaps the big guys are type2. makes you wonder about type1 doesn't it. heavy conjecture I know :P

A hero ship can be lost as part of a dramatic storylin if it can be replaced or is to be upgraded, see several ent's.

If Voyager was lost then they have nothing, except maybe a none fed ship, can you see that happening?

Yes, but they made sure all the hero characters were a safe distance away.

It would seem that any ship that has a main character aboard instantly becomes invincible. Look at the punishments some runabouts took on D.S..9 while carting main characters around.
