Favorite Printer Brands (Poll)

Post by Captain_H » Wed Aug 03, 2005 12:52 pm

Mine personally would have to be Lexmark. I consider it my favorite brand of printer because of their cheap cost and long life.

I just recently got a new Lexmark printer after having my previous Lexmark printer for at least ten years. Just last year my previous printer had some problems of not taking the paper and having to push the paper in so the rollers can grab it, and just recently had problems with the serial cable. The fact that it has lasted this long without any problems except for a year ago that makes me choose Lexmark as my printer brand.

All printers get flakey at times and go out of sequence as if confused. Feeding gets weird sometimes too. I've had 2 HPs since 1994. The first lasted till 2004.

HP makes a horrible computer, but makes nice printers. Mine has already gone 5 years.

I saw a Dell computer commercial that showed a printer that looks remarkabily similar to my Lexmark printer. Maybe Dell also prefers Lexmark printers.
