He turned to the dark side b/c he gave into his emotions. He never realized that it was b/c of his choices that he would lose Padme. He turned b/c he allowed himself to be overcome by fear. That fear blinded him into doing evil things. Like hunt down all the Jedi in the Jedi Temple. Although, him turning on Windu did impact him for the future. Later when he had to chose between the Emperor and his son I am sure he remembered the mistake he made before. While Darth Vader has always been seen as evil. We must not forget that the proficy was correct. He did put an end to the Cyth. When he killed his master and turned back to the good side there were no more cyth. Anyways.

My favorite element is fire. and anything else that blows up. Now I don't mean to do harm to others but there is a certain awe in watching a huge explosion.

Bah. Some of you make darkness sound evil.

Darkness is merely the absence of light.

People fear the dark because they cannot see what it hides within its folds. That is its true power. Creating fear of the unknown and the unseen.

Besides people are always unsure of themselves, we are, in essance, pools of darkness waiting for a light to show the path to who we really are.

See, you wait around long enough and I'll spout out something almost profound.
