Their decisions can be ignored by the other two branches or overturned by other courts.

While the congress has the power of the purse(can withold money for things)

and the president has the power of the army/ law enforcement/ etc

the judiciary's power is in goodwill only. That is why taking more power away from them is a mistake.

What I'm sayin is that they control the checks of balances. Hopefully they have and use some of their own checks and balances. Of course, when it comes to a jury, it seems like very little checks and balances are in place.

The only problem is that the Supreme Court doesn't have a jury for the cases. It only has 7 judges. I think that it should also have 12 jurors.
