*Spoiler Alert!* Stargate: SG-1 Earth's newest ship

The Odysey, a BC-304, is the newest ship in Earth's fleet. It looks like we've finally got some firepower to fight off those who would do harm to the Earth.

I have only seen season 1 of Atlantis and seasons 1-8 of SG-1.

I was upset when the Prometheus was destroyed. All I could remember was the comment O'Neil said when he was first aboard it:
"What about calling it the Enterprise?"

Yes I was not to happy to hear that they have destroyed the Prometheus either. It was a good looking ship that has saved not only Earth but the Asgard several times. They just want a more advanced ship in SG-1 now that Atlantis has the Daedalus.

I have not kept up on SG1 in some time.

Plus, it adds to the dramatic content of the show to destroy the Prometheus. I really liked that ship too, but it can't be all happy go lucky all the time. I don't think I would watch if it were.
