Who plays Bridge Commander yet?
Just wondering if anyone in the AFC Forums plays bridge commander and mods ships? There's tons of ships I'd love to see in BC that's in Armada 1 and 2.

I'd like to play Bridge Commander but I've never owned it, which as you might expect is a major obstacle to playing it. I've heard relatively little about the game though, except that some of the people look 'scary' (particularly Picard) and that their heads can turn all the way around. What would you say is particularly good about BC versus, say, SFC?

BC is better than the SFC games in almost every catagory. Moddability for one, one mod team has almost completely turned BC into Armada gameplay wise and that the glows on ships/stations are very show/movie like. The moddability for SFC is nothing compared to BC. The model quality also blows SFC away. And also the BC community is still very active unlike the SFC community.SaiyaJin_Dale wrote:BC Beats SFC cause it's real time and you can see the bridge and stuff. It's actually pretty good.

I thought most of us played Bridge Commander, although I've not played for several months. As said earlier, there are some great mods for it.
Personally, I think playing online is where it comes into it's own. That can be really fun.
And just to confirm, SFC is real-time too. It's hardly turn based

Well I always thought of SFC as being turned based cause you can maneuver around yes, but everytime you fire weapons, its your fire, then their fire, your fire, then theirs lol. I liked that game but found it annoying at the same time too.Harey wrote:I thought most of us played Bridge Commander, although I've not played for several months.
