eh, oh well. I tried. I once heard that the colloquial name of a mass driver was a rail gun. I with all the logic cells ,which is very few i might add, i have working double time i figured it might work.

well if thats the case my only mistake was that it wasn't a smilie or metaphor. Rail gun though, now that i think about it, is not a misnomer as you said. Its a colloquialism which is an informal word or phrase that is more common in conversation than in formal speech or writing.blindeye01 wrote:Colloquial means laymen's terms or common language.

Well, railgun is colloquial and a misnomer. Misnomers are not insults, they just do not mean what they say.
