I didn't realize there was cheats lol. Yea, after that I saw a bunch more systems except for the Roms they only had a total of six. Bad spawn for them it looked like tho. Everything looks good!

What do you mean when you say that they are not expanding? Colonizing. Yea they explored and built colony ships and had maybe 3-4 systems by turn 200 but that was the most I could see besides me who had like 20 by that time. But obviously it was something wonky on my end and I should've tested more...

Has the team thought of the idea of a 2D combat engine for starters? Something like Distant Worlds Universe implemented. Interesting. I'm curious how you came to find that workaround lol. Not sure if I need it because I've double clicked multiple ships from scouts to cruisers to build them and no crash. I did do the old "run as administrator" bit to start the exe and *knocks on wood* that seemed to do the trick for me...

So removing win7 comp seemed to fix the CTD. I figured running the game in win7 comp was a current issue. Maybe I was just unlucky.
