My apologies for not being clearer, basically the biggest grind for me is colonising a new system and bringing it up to scratch. Then I like to build a defence fleet for said system.

Which all takes a long time. I don't play multi player. Just solo.

I read up on it that mod looks like all it'll do is improve graphics and such? I don't see how it helps with what I'm seeking to do unless you could explain further.

I'm just about to give up on this game, I try to drag it out as long as possible, let all the empires become strong etc, I edited a couple things in UE. Saved myself a lot of time colonising 2 systems giving them their too equipment and making them self sufficient and my game does nothing but crash....

Strange I decided to break a treaty as part of the action in my turn and it's working again for some reason lol!

That's what happened to me, used it, did stuff, didn't get crash problems for over 30 turns :/ ah well

Damn, feels like UE is almost useless in that regard then, tried to cut down grinding on editing star systems, structures etc, rearranging the map and so forth. Thanks for clearing that up

pal there is absolutely an easy way to do it on UE. I'm paranoid about screwing with stuff on hex editor, I don't even have it installed. Anyway go into UE, from there edit go to system info choose the system you want go to structure list and then add in as many as you want/need, obviously make sure...

Well the UE is excellent, I've worked it out real quick, however when I try adding in a Klingon star base to one of their systems the game crashes. I see what you mean also when u say the UE is incomplete still so awesome to use though.

Doesn't the hex editor require actual coding though?

Ok cool so looking at that I don't see how I can magically make a new pop appear on the Klink home world, but I can at least add in a couple colony ships for them at least, do u reccomend hex editor or UE for this? Thanks again!
