hmmm I went to a Win8.1 computer, installed Flagship, runs fine, installed 1024 patch, didn't take on that machine either. The pop-up window gave the windows registry error.

I was gonna cheat, and just copy the trek.exe and stbof file from my windoze box to my wine box LOL oh well no dice.

Yes, wine has a registry, and regedit, just like windows.

Works great on Debian testing, having fun over here. ALT-TAB doesn't always let you switch back to the desktop. It's a problem with the desktop manager, not botf.
