Re: Anyone up for a tournament?

Game report: I played Peelster1. I chose Fluid's mod, T5 large, imposs, irreg, many minors. He chose Feds, I took Cards. I started in middle left, he the middle right, seperated by Fergs. Fortunately I met Ullians, Ktarians and Betazed before turn 10, so I quickly conquered them and had a strong int...

Re: All in One 2.0.0 beta 3 available for testing

Hi TC,

I downloaded this yesterday for Vanilla and UDM with the 1366 resolution, and Cards are no longer crashing on the production screen (great work!). I also started a multiplayer game with Dissy yesterday using UDM + MPR and it's all running smoothly.

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

Great work TC!

What is UE? :???:

Edit: Just seen that it's Ultimate Editor. I'm not sure how to do that so I'll probably just play on a lower res until it's in the all in one.

Cheers for sorting the bug though!

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

mine was in the radeon panel not sure where it would be in Nvidia control panel but for BOTF all in general settings (advanced) should be set to "use application settings" Ah, I've gone to the programme settings for BOTF in the Nvidia panel and turned everything to off / use application settings, a...

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

It looks to have been new video driver setting "tessellation mode" needs to be set to use application settings. no issues in labor screen after that was set. and I did test without MPR++ and had no issues. just strange it only effected 1366 x 768 MPR++ but still having issues starting game and clos...

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

Thanks for recreating it, TC.

I wasn't aware there was a 1920 x 1080 res. If the game works with that res, I may as well install that as I'm using a high res screen. Is it ok to install it over the current game installtions? Or does the whole lot need reinstalling?

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

Cheers TC.

Both UDM and UDML, plus Vanilla, with max resolution (1388 I think?), MPR, and nothing else edited.

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

I've just tried two more MP games using Cards. First turn crashed when using sliders. Then I tried another game, skipped the first turn, then as soon as I adjusted the sliders for the second turn, it crashed again. I checked the crash log and it is not recording it. Could it be to do with the type o...

You'll have to forgive my illiteracy in these matters, TC - how do I find the crash log?

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

Evening, Flocke! Some feedback regarding a potential bug. Whenever Cards are played, if I go to the production screen to re-allocate population (from research to energy, for example), the game crashes to desktop every time. It only happens when using Cards, and has happened with me 4 times in a row ...

Re: Birth Player (Multiplayer)

Great idea with the Discord server, Mr_Sloan. It's good to have a place to arrange games in real-time like the old days!

Might it be worth editing the thread title to alert people to it being a Discord server? It might get more people in. ;)

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing

Thanks for the link, Flocke! I'm glad you're doing well. That's a shame about the situation with the game engine, but the work you've done in keeping BOTF alive is very much appreciated! I had a quick try in single player and the changes look like a vast improvement in battle. I'll be giving it a go...
