Ha! Well, just won the match somehow. 350k in the hole xD

I've been at max research for a long time.. not sure what would have changed there. Unless going above L10 in something would have an effect? Playing Balance of Power mod btw.

I'll scrap some fleets and empty some queues, see if that helps. Jumping from 20k a turn to -30k seems crazy to me.

Can't figure it out. 50k in the hole now and losing 35k a turn. No treaties active with any "per turn" agreements.. fleet is at 50k upkeep, but I was steadily gaining 20k a turn then all of a sudden tanked.

Any ideas??

Using zerotier as a virtual lan, computers are not in the same location. I'll look into that article tho.

Edit: yes we are following those instructions exactly... Still getting the "connection error" message. Will try Hamachi and then this weekend in the same room if that doesn't work.

Thought of that before installing, actually, from reading comments here. installed in d:\botf currently. other machine is c:\botf
