That might be the problem then, I have v1903 of Windows 10. Sadly running as administrator seems to make no difference to any of my issues. I'd be very interested in what changed between Windows versions to cause this.

That's odd. I have absolutely no problems with this. Maybe if you try to re-install? As for the buttons, check the Win10 issues thread. It's not related to the Textures folder, but to Win10. Thanks for the continued help. However, renaming the textures folder results in the game not starting because it can't find the xnb files.

I tried the other things, and also tried setting the executables to Win7 compatibility, but there was no improvement.
