Birth of the Federation

Hello spacefriends, here is a save game for you to play. You´ll play the Dominion fully developed empire. Map large, turn 300, 130 planets, opponents left are Cards and Feds. On my PCs the game crashes during the battle but it´s still possible to play further.

Thanks thunderecho and Spock :) Problem solved. I really like that the UDM gives you a fast start with lots of ships, buildings and planets. The Borg destroy the Fed and the AI does nothing - 400 ships but nothing. I deactivated random events and set BORG = OFF in the stbof.ini file but there are still new Borg Spheres spawning. How can I get rid of the Borg?

Thank you for looking into it. The 1920 mod works now, the problem was the wrong path. Sadly my current game is 1024. In 1920 x 1080 the game looks really stunning though.

I´m watching right now - fantastic battle. How come that it doesn´t crash on your pc? How many ships did you loose? On auto, I lost over 100 ships - your battle looks a lot better.

1920 somehow crashes with every mod when I click on any ingame menu like science, intel etc. But 1024 is ok.

Hm, it should be the right save game file, turn 319 right before the big battle. Save game 11 is the one that I have to load ingame, so I thought it should be the right file. What do you get with that file? Thanks again for your help

Hello, I do get the laggy mouse cursor, could it be the GPU driver? Win 10, GeForce GTX 980 Ti driver: 445.87 and playing in 1024... 1920 crashes when I click on a ingame menue (like science, intel etc.). I am now at turn 350 and the game runs stable but didn´t have any more major battles yet.
