Any image can be resized/replaced. Some instances will require other changes such as increasing place holders and or moving text. If suffix is changed the trek.exe must be edited. example when some ***_30.tga images where changed to use ***_61 images, but some locations still used ***_30.tga images....

due to ship list changes the tutorials only work on original (vanilla) version.

and what is 'beam %' in tactical combat? IIRC this changes text when status is selected you get text and % bars below each ship. beam.jpg there must be also some values who set that only capital letters are used. but didn't find anything near your mentioned values in trek.exe. code reads lexicon or...

There are many unused images and files in the stbof.res. I had a list of all the "not used images" at one time.

interesting, have you set the trek.exe for new resolution? I have not upgraded to 4k so testing is tough for me, but UE and 1080 will give me scroll up - down and left - right scroll.jpg your example issue is 4/5 ratio like it is a fixed size. And window area not able to scroll. so I don't understan...

Back to your request for enhancement, could you provide an screenshot of how large you can get? I am not seeing a max limit so I think it may use % of screen/window?

It sounds like most of your ships upgraded at the same time.

short term fix would be to scrap a few ships, while long term fix would be to colonize like crazy.

also leaving build queue empty will generate some extra credits per turn.

I just did a quick test of wdfedit and it worked without any issues on larger images. here is what I did on vanilla 1080 files, 1. extracted "all" wdf and tga files from stbof.res to new folder (this is important to have all tga's and all wdf's files in same folder as wdfedit.exe) 2. created 4 large...
