Yeah, chose not to build a ship on that turn from that particular star system... 30 turns on. Klingon are my ally and all is well with the universe. Im just gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Hello all Ok, Short story. Running my own mod. 4 successful play-throughs. On the 5th at turn 35 to 36 there is a CTD and no crash log data. Now... what causes it. UPDATE: I doubled the maintenance and build cost of all starships and starbases. Removed the bugged income bonus building (-_-). Reduced the number of stellar objects by 25%. My turn time dropped from 3-4 minutes on a normal difficulty playthrough to 1-2 minutes... not a bad improvement. In hindsigh...

UPDATE: I have my home worlds typical starship training structure and in addition to that i have my new starship training structure. +50 and +15. one turn of training and from 0 a ship went to 65. Hello all, Im using UE currently and have set the maximum minor races for the 'MANY' options to 30 ( i have 30 minor races within my mod) but only 21-24 minor races are on the map. Anyone tried it? my reasoning... i hate when i cant increase starship experience when outside of my home system of special minor race systems so i thought... Perhaps... Have a lesser version of say 10-15% whilst my ships are stationed over any planet if i cant afford to station them over a training ...

ok. im going to try and keep the large map sizes for as long as possible... its an ego thing. Fewer systems, is it just colonizable systems or things like wormholes, nebulas and neutrons aswel? atm i have 200ish stellar objects... reducing that to 100ish will be my next gamble with that.
