The problem with ramming with the Cardie ships, is that you end up with a lot destroyed still...I want my ships to live...suppose its how you use tactics though and individual strategy.

I generally like to think of the books set after the TV series (2379 onwards) and from say 2300 - 2340s as canon, since there is nothing to directly contradict them other than the shi*e that Bill Shatner comes up with...lol. Hmmm...its a great model...but the Curry does not look at all like a Colony Ship...maybe the Liberator should become the Colony and the Curry remaining as Troop Transport...besides the Curry is an Aircraft Carrier after all

The mention of Cloaks in 'Balance of Terror' being new could be a reference to the fact that that particular model was new, since the romulans change and update the cloak with advancements of sensor systems.
