Sorry for the delayed response. I did click remove then apply. I click the buttons but nothing happens. I made sure bof_reset.patch was in its own folder, so it was the only patch bof_patcher saw. Then I opened UE and I still get the, "Unknow trek.exe modification found" and "Segment ...

I followed those instructions including putting the bof_reset.patch in its own folder and locating trek.exe. But, nothing happens when I click install then apply. I still get the same "modification" error when using UE.

I already downloaded the patch. 'm asking what to do with it in bof_patcher. Your instructions to Dewbacca were vague. Should I just patch over Gowron's BOPL trek.exe?

I have the same problem. What patch or code needs to be removed in bof_patcher? There's dozens of them.this is due to special code Gowron used, here is a patch to allow you to edit with UE (remove with bof_patcher) but once you make changes you need to re-apply with bof_patcher.

I edited the buildings but gave them all the same stats and ensured starting bldgs and starting tech matched. Seems like the buildings are very sensitive to changes and easy to get screwed up.

The Type 8 University appears as Subatomic Simulators in the Build Screen at Federation tech level 5 on UDML. The lower tech universities appear as normal at lower tech levels. I tried your suggestion already and it didn't work. It looks like ECML is a loss. Are you planning on making an ECML installer ever again? Maybe I already asked, but why didn't you include ECML in the All in One installer? In the meanitime, would I be able to edit trek.exe with HXD or another hex ed...

Is there a way I can tell what resolution is installed on my old laptop? I remember I used BOTF 1.02 English/German installer, then ECML 3.0, then MPR++2.6c.

Problem With Ultimate Editor
I am having a new problem with Ultimate Editor. Every time I go to the slot for the Galaxy Command Cruiser II, the ship list in the left hand pane will disappear. I tried deleting UE then extracting a new copy but it didn't help.

Okay thank you. Am I also able to edit the galaxy size for ECM in UE for any resolution without problems? I liked the size ECML used to have . The normal map included in All in One is simply too small even on large irregular galaxy.
