Re: Anyone still knocking about in here?

No chimney there, but removed all the old ugly tiles in kitchen and bath ( much more work than the chimney ), grinded and mended the floor, got a used kitchen for cheap I had to drive from Bremen, searched and planned on how to furnish the rooms, replaced locks I still got no key, cleared with the l...

Re: Thank you for ten incredible years

If there was one game that really got me soaked up, it is BotF. And even after all these years I still feel related to this game as well as to this community. And I'm sure this counts for many of us. For keeping the game and this site alive and the many participation up to the current date I thank a...

Re: Turn processing patch (CLOSED)

I am not sure what "sahf" is? an asm instruction to load the EFLAGS register: https://x86.puri.sm/html/file_module_x86_id_284.html https://www.aldeid.com/wiki/X86-assembly/Instructions/sahf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FLAGS_register By my first thought, those flags might be used to proceed on an ...

Re: Turn processing patch (CLOSED)

Given we know the interface, I'm sure it can be changed. QuasarDonkey already prooved it can be changed. But it'll be some work with unknown outcome. From what I have read SmartHeap often was used for debugging the memory usage to e.g. figure memory leaks, but it doesn't fix them by itself. So likel...

Re: BOTF All in One installer 1.0.1 (Released 6-12-2017)

The only issue I keep having is the need to run the game as admin My first thought was to change the install path to c:\botf, but I see you already did so. Older games like BotF often write to the application folder, but since Win7 I think programs without admin rights are restricted to write to th...

Re: testers needed for Turn processing patch

when there is a "conflict" it either is hex overlapping or it is that the circular buffer is too small or limited some other way from what I can guess, so possibly a large map conflict
