BTW, notice that there are 2 issues with the CE version that will crash the game:
- if one side only has a station (stations are not included in the released CE version, they will not take part in battles)
- if a Romulan Colony Ship II is engaged

It does look like those autosaves got corrupted for some reason. I played the savegame for 10+ turns and had no issues.
When you say "end of the file", ou mean the error.txt file? So these crashes are also Out Of Memory crashes?

Hehe, that's a rather frequent request.
At some point we will have that. The code already supports it, and Misfire even implemented a feature in the auto-builder that builds ships/fleets for you - it is currently hidden though, we should probably look into it again.
