Manual - feedback
I just uploaded an updated version of the manual to the Downloads page. It's not complete yet, not by a long shot. But it's a lot better (as in, with recent/accurate information) than the previous version. Some parts are still incomplete, like the Diplomacy screen, the Intelligence screen, the ToDo ...

Re: The Ferengi as a playable civ
Questions: Should *all* Ferengi colonies (including member and subjugated colonies of non-Mercantile civs) be able to establish trade routes without an Open Borders pact, OR only Native colonies :?: Should an empire's subjugated Ferengi colonies "inherit" the ability to establish TRs witho...

Re: Suggestions
Some reports say that it's a bit too easy to get minors to join; that's one of the reasons for being reticent about making it even easier. The Feds have enough advantages already, so we need to be careful with these changes - considering that their personnel is also more prone to having good stats ...

Re: Suggestions
As the Supremacy prefers shorter distance trade routs IMO it's what makes sense. It can be discussed though. I would propose to have an option to update them without any penalty, as the empire growth would allow nearer systems development. It's in the suggestions list, though it should only be poss...

Re: The Ferengi as a playable civ
Done  We need a new description text for the Ferengi, as the current one implies they're a minor civ. Any takers :?: The Ferengi are a race of hucksters, living for material wealth and possessions, and the constant desire to acquire more by any means necessary. Their traders can be found ac...

Re: The Ferengi as a playable civ
and finally was able to play the game more after the auto management stuff got added in. I sadly just have too much trouble managing more than a handful of systems myself, even in vanilla BOTF and can't get far without Auto before people start starving to death. Yeah, kudos to Misfire for the...

Re: The Ferengi as a playable civ
One thing we can do is "force" (for Canon Home Quadrants games ofc) the Dominion to be spawned in the upper part of the GQ (it's probably like that already, but I'm not sure) Yep, it is. I pushed the spawning boundary a bit "up" so that it doesn't overlap with: and the Ferengi i...

Re: The Ferengi as a playable civ
Really late response on my part, but I do have a collection of Ferengi ship and station models I made almost a decade ago for a Stellaris mod that never happened. All of them except for the ENT era scoutship went unused. If you guys ever are considering adding the Ferengi I'd be more than happy to ...

Re: Suggestions
I suppose I feel like having just a single trade route for over a hundred turns does feel a bit odd though, I guess I've just run out of luck finding systems with higher than 250 pops. Maybe I'll slightly tweak the values... I haven't felt the need for more TRs in relation to minor civs(*), ...

Re: Suggestions
2. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but is there a way to add the little voice clip that says "Treaty will be accepted/rejected" when you accept or reject a treaty that was sent to you? Very tiny detail but every now and again I stare at the Diplomacy screen like a dummy when I hit accept a...

Re: The Dominion
As I remember I have a similar situation with other races as well - A fast morale burst after massive system colonization. It is about reaching scout 2 / colony ship 2 technologies. Scout 2 allows searching nice systems quicker. Yes, it is the same for all civs. The Dominion just has a larger modif...

Re: Suggestions
I've been having a lot of fun playing this lately. It really does feel like it's some long lost build of BOTF2. I really have no complaints or critiques at all, really well made game so far and I look forward to when all the combat is added in. I suppose all I really have to say is some minor reque...

Re: Supremacy new release
 You can check the tooltip for (the value of) Fleet Support to get the specifics: Population Support is the total support generated (population and +FleetSupport buildings) Fleet Maintenance is the maintenance cost for all your ships (maintenance for stations is not covered by support) (Fleet Su...

Re: Supremacy new release
how does the fleet support mechanic work when I do into the negatives? You mean when fleet support is negative, or when credits are negative? If the former, then that amount is subtracted from your credits pool each turn, to pay for the excess maintenance cost of your ships. Fleet Support is the ma...
