Just a thought. I enjoy playing LAAM but it has one problem i never did like. The AI will only get between 20 to 30 systems and stop. It will not expand through combat or colonizing.

Can you change that some how?

I have been playing LAAM. Only a couple of crashes. Much better than it used to be.

ok, got a new problem.
I can use the mouse as long as I dont pick on a ship. If i do pick on a ship to tell it where to go the mouse will return to 32,10 on the map.

I turned off "correct mouse position" and it works now. No stutter. Thx again. :)

1.01 worked fine for me.

start trek from files almost works fine, mouse stutter in game window
start dxwnd from file and the mouse is stuck again
start from trek shortcut on desktop and the mouse is stuck again

did a full uninstall updated my computer cleaned it did a new DL this morning did a fresh install of tools and vanilla got it to work some what. Had to go to the files and change trek Properties, Compatibility, "Change settings for all users",Run program as an administrator. mouse works in all scree...

I noticed far less ship production when i changed the

Factory 3, 6 and 9 to needing full tech
Farms 3. 6 and 9 to needing full tech
Power 3, 6 and 9 to needing full tech

From what I can tell, this slows the AI down big time for ship production for the first 200 turns or so.
