who cares about dilithium on it. dilithium on a 85 pop planet is as useful as any other dont know why you mention the gas giant? any mod that makes them useful? mention it please and I'd use pretty much the same tactics as for any colony, let it build by itself A fully developped colony is worth mor...

well, one thing i saw, is that conventional ideas like up and down prevail with the artificial gravity on ships and on many places on a starbase, you dont have to put docks "up" or obey any other gravity rule i think in the startrek series there is at least one example of starhips docking ...

sorry for resurrecting this

no, having a trade treaty with any race doesnt benefit you unless you make a trade route (see the economics (or trade) tab). having trade relations, or friendly with minors, doesnt help a bit unless you establish an actual route, and you have a limited number of these

may have been mentioned before, but some way to negate some random events... It doesnt make too much sense that a comet smashed into a planet when it has orbitals and 3 warships to reduce any such comet to space dust

in any fight where you did not attack the enemy strike cruisers, you'll see the damage they can do. They are a bit fragile, but the sense of that is enhanced since all AI opponents will try to kill them off first. With good reason

i actually like the alien enemy random event better that the others. Somehow a comet impact never turns a big y planet into an o or m, but always turns an m or o at least into b

i'm Osk btw, i just forgot the pass, and appearantly gave an old, not used anymore mail adres for emergencies. seems i outsmarted myself. anyway its better to build lvl 1: while you upgrade, any excessive workforce goes to waste between upgrades, other structures will actually take longer i guess it...
