Re-installed Direct X 9 and that seems to be doing the trick. Thank you sir! I wouldn't have thought to re-install that particular option. I will play some games tomorrow and see if it holds up

Well BOTF was working when I was running 10 after an upgrade from 8.1 but I did a clean install of 10 today and it went right out the window :S It lets me into game but as soon as I try to enter combat or look at the ships in the research screen it crashes so presumably a rendering issue. Anyone else have the phasers not showing up problem? I can hear them firing but can't actually see them ? Aside from that everything seems to run well on my Windows 10 install after using MPR+

EDIT: Should probably mention this is with the UDM conversion.

Should also mention I read about the long load times, but the way I read it this was largely limited to AMD CPU's ? I am on Intel so that shouldn't be an issue? exact cause of long load time using wine files was never determined. thunderchero Maybe I will just try it again later and just leave it.....

Has anyone had issues getting this to load once the wine files are installed? I tried this every different variation under the sun and no matter what I try I can't get the game to load. The game appears in the taskbar but I can't get it to come up and it appears to lock everything except the taskbar...
