in sp vanilla i almost always play as the feds because when i think of star trek i think of kirk and picard .and,after all, they are humans like us :) Great ships,research and diplomacy but piss poor intel , which i can live with in sp,but its a real headache in mp ( cheers mickar,chris, dissy,chaos...

Well I'm currently playing a nice long"taking it easy" type of game as the feds. Feds have a real boost due ,to loads of minors,which i feel gives them a huge advantage,I'm upto turn 476 ( my longest ever game :) )and i've got 20 minors membered, without much difficulty The roms and cards ...

yeah it was a good game ,i did feel a little bit trapped in the bottom corner but thats the luck of the draw :( i got a few k from the cards but that scource of income soon dried up i saw my chance to strand his fleet about turn 65 but lost 6 destroyers doing so ( my heavy ships were out of range). ...

there was a full brigade of riskill players in there so i guess thier room went down first
