although there are 3 cloak levels, 30 scanning strength in a sector reveals any clocked ships.

Production for Transports(TTs) is how much they build in a turn towards an outpost; a 1000 production cost outpost will be built by a 200 production transport in 5 turns; or by 5 TTs in one turn. yeah, i use that a lot in the first 15-20 turns when i am buying the cheap main structures while keeping all the workforce on farms: ->, click on buy, -> click on buy; of course having gotten rid of the buy confirmation helps a lot.

9 colony ships going together? you need to get as many system as possible starting as soon as possible; pop growth is slow so you have time to revisit with another colony later to terraform the rest of the planets. I just send one colony per system to be colonized, and colonize as soon as one planet...

With a subjugated system, when I am winning EVERY battle, colonizing like mad, and everything else possible (aside from minor races with empire wide morale bonuses) morale NEVER goes above pleased. That's also not using any negative morale building. There is a morale cap; you get some morale penalt...

if you like micromanagement, low morale after conquering is just one more thing to manage; if you don't and are lazy like me, just use UE to add a +1 morale to system to a building like the bunker network; i find that is enough to keep even the feds happy during a conquering phase. this works for si...
