Topic: Star Trek 90210, is it a rental or a buy?

To not call this a Star Trek movie would like be calling Yesterdays Enterprise a non The Next Generation TV episode. That's just plain stupid. Yesterday's Enterprise was consistent with the established ST universe. All of the characters were "in character", everything was consistent with ...

Star Terk XI -- great film... ...Just not Star Trek! Definitely not Star Trek. But I disagree about the "great film" part. I'd say it's a mediocre or above-average action movie at best. The character development is hackneyed, the pacing is laughable, and it's dumbed-down to the 3rd grade ...

I doubt it affects crashing, but I bet it might reduce or eliminate the crashes where your only way out is to reset the machine?

Could be Borg, but that would be boring. I would say ... Andromedans or something outside the galaxy. After all, Andromedans came during a TOS episode and hinted that more would be coming later to conquer the Milky Way. Also, in Enterprise, that femmy future-guy talked about a threat outside the gal...

The Klingons stole DNA research from superhumans and used it to try to become superklingons. But it didn't work very well (I think someone disabled the super-traits at the end of an Enterprise episode) and they ended up just LOOKING human, but really getting nothing out of it. It was a relatively po...

I signed up, woo. Too bad they didn't ask any Star Trek trivia questions. :) I wonder how many people will be chosen?

Hopefully you don't mean the "new star trek universe" in terms of the "new star trek movie"? Otherwise I don't know why Janeway would be dead, just her previous future self. The younger self got home. Is Janeway dead according to "book canon"? Amusingly, the books will ...

Just watched the trailer. I was very interested for the first 90 seconds, then it died. Looks like more cliche crap with bad writing to insult our intelligence. Sigh.

I DO own the CD, and I just gave up on the CD install. It crashes in combat. You're better off with the downloadable multi-installer. I'm using Hades 1.1 now and haven't had a crash in 100 turns. Before I used to crash out of 2/5 combats...

I don't want to choke the thread with too many posts, but I think this is relevant. Just wanted to say that I switched from CD Version + Jokers to no-CD Version + Hades 1.1, and I haven't had one crash so far (turn 100 or so.) I've had a lot of combat, maybe 15-20 battles which is a lot more than I ...

Ha, that's hilarious. It would be funnier if Gomtuu pushed your ships out of the system the first time: "Danger. Gomtuu. Do... not... allow!" (whooossshhh) Sadly I don't get to see the roaming entities, as I always play with random events off, due to the Borg being totally ridiculous...

OK, I'll just wipe it and try the multi-installer. But for future reference, is it possible to change the 3D mode (software, direct etc.) on Joker's?

I'm still suffering combat crashes (installed from CD) and looking to reduce them, to make the game playable. Can someone give me a quick rundown on how? The first Hades link downloads a ZIP file which windows says is broken. The Hades 2.2 EXE file works, but says I need to be "installed comple...

Interesting. There's an article here which goes into detail: http://www.stdimension.org/int/Cartography/mwdiv.htm ...in the last years it has become obvious that the script authors more and more disregard the quadrant system, which is still valid according to all recent official publications. At the...
