affirmative. with normal large maps it always was doable for me. not a big challenge except they came under turn 100. (sometimes nasty but mostly balanced) Wish I've played these huge maps of yours(mod?)... But I agree completely pre turn 100 borq is BS in vanilla... I consider myself a Picard Ahab...

10k is very much in an mp game but against Rom/Card you can't have enough of it As average in an sp game on a normal large map I'd say perhaps 6k to 8k. I hear what your saying and I agree, but in vanilla (or UDM) if any empire ever f***'s me with its intel its over. I'm normally the romulans and i...

Since it only takes about 2000 intel to stop the computers
(or less earlier on) I never really became much of an Enabran Tain in botf. Since I know some of you have destroyed an empire nearly on intel might alone, I was wondering waht was your ideal intel number in vanilla.

A Cloaking Device is your best friend when dealing with the borq... I'd even go as far as to say 15 borq cubes can be dealt with about 27-54 klingon type 2(T3 in UDM) scouts or 18-36 romulan (heavy UDM)destroyers T2... Obivously it's better to have two seperate cloaked fleets capable of destroying t...

I have been meaning to play against human opponents for awhile now, so I will take you up on that offer. One thing that has always puzzled me about MP botf was the time invovled. I almost always play with a large galaxy, with no tactical timer, domination settings, and on a low tech level. Even tho ...

Borg Fleets?
Now I've only ever played vanilla and the UDM but I was wondering if it was possible for the borg to create a fleet instead of dividing up their ships after assimilating anew planet. Unless I'm playing tech level 1 and they show up before turn 100, I've never found the borg much of a challenge. My w...
