Re: Supremacy new release

Yeah, the code only removes excess TRs that are unassigned, apparently by design - I guess Mike thought that if they were already set, there would be no reason for them to suddenly collapse. Should we change that? I don't think so, that might be OK. I had found that a couple of weeks ago and wonder...

Re: Supremacy new release

That's one of the parts where it's not complete yet, yes.
But don't those TRs get removed in the turn after the building gets destroyed? (Not the current turn, the next one)
I have just tested it by scrapping such building myself.
The rout is not removed and makes a profit.

Re: Feedback needed

Again about the ST canon, wormholes and cloaking ships. In DS9 episode 3x21 "The Die is Cast" the whole huge mixed Cardasian/Romulan fleet also decloaks before entering the wormhole to attack the Dominion. But I agree that it should be deliberate decision to make the game more fun. Might a...

Re: Supremacy new release

I have noticed something else in the Supremacy. Mercantile minor races usually use specific building to have the trade rout option open. If such rout is established and after that the building is destroyed, in effect of a bombardment for example, but the member system still exists, the rout exists w...

Re: Minor civ Buildings

I meant the same kind of bonus of two building, so it does not make too much sense.

Minor civ Buildings

Hi,
I have a question about the Betazoids.
They have two buildings specific to that race: the Counselling Academy ( adding 50% to the Internal Security) and the Diplomatic Society (+10% of the Internal Security).
Should the second one improve the diplomatic skills?

Re: Supremacy new release

I really love randomly generated galaxies in the Supremacy!
This time I got a mix of the Bajoran and Barzan wormholes ;)
Would be nice to have different names of the both ends ;)

Re: Playing as the Borg

I wasn't simply feeling how it might be connected.
But...
What about some intel levels allowing an earlier prediction, depending on system intel, that a bioship could appear in given system (or scanned area) in 2 or 3 turns ahead? That could allow the Borg to prepare a defense.

Re: Playing as the Borg

I have a feeling that it would be more military event, not a terrorist one. Is it possible to create a 3 turn event without adding a new race? For example - just some hot thoughts: 1st turn - if the targeted system is covered by the Subspace Analyser (in the system or nearby) - there would be a warn...

Re: Playing as the Borg

So the first step might be just a random attack on the Borg system, but - as the Borg systems are rather sparse and cannot be recreated - I would propose only a partial destruction (some population a maybe some buildings), similar to other extra events.

Re: Playing as the Borg

I thought about something similar to the Borg attacks in the original BotF. So one bioship, which might be detected by the Subspace Analyser, traveling towards a Borg system fast, like 3 sectors per turn. Might be taken down for example by two Tactical Cubes or 3 Cubes. The bioship could eliminate s...

Re: Playing as the Borg

What do you think about a random event in the Borg game like an attack the assimilated system by the Undine species (8472)?

Re: Supremacy new release

Did you happen to redeploy a colonizer fleet or something?
I am not sure now, but my main test for repeatable error is to press turn without any changes or actions in tested one. And I got that error in such conditions as well.

Re: Supremacy new release

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I have found an error. It was repeatable, but because of my clumsiness, I have no save (my autosave was overwritten  )
Anyway it happened during the map update.
