Do i still need to be a computer scientist to unlock the right ports to play the game or is there now a simpler way?

What races are going to be in the final version of the stargate mod? eber, I did find it interesting that Romulans from Enterprises time could produce such a sophisticated holographic system for outside their ships, yet Voyager could not reliably project 3 Talaxian ships into space when in a battle with the Kazon.

Its great work mate, but the only problem I have is the AI expends its territory FAR too slowly. Played a quick game on this as the dominion from tech level 1, I have 48 systems colonised and am just building 20 more colony ships to take over the whole bottom half of the map, while the feds have 16 ...

I have been testing my connection on warzone with Carcher (thanks mate). He loads the game up and it launches on my computer too, i click on new multiplayer game and then it comes up with directplay error. Anyone know what I can do to get this working?
