Negative valve for ship costs over appr. 32700 credits

Hello,
is there a fix for the ship cost - which gets negative, if cost is set higher than 32767 or so credits?
I remember another topic where Gowron wrote about the building upgrade issue, but (when I am right), there was no edition for ship cost.

If it's of interest after all,

yes, you can give gas giants a number of population, and you gan give them energy bonus too, if you dare.
Yust use the UE and look for the max population menu and the planet boni menu (guess there both under Galaxy).

to come back to the problem with inserting files into stbof.res using the windows xp zip function: It seems that xp itself makes the most trouble. I'd like to start a list of mods/ships/buildings which makes modds crash to desktop, as help for all who likes to do some modding on their own: shipyards (Werften): I've tried to have both the romulans and the klingons use the military shipyard and use the freed imperial shipyard for other purposes....

Hm, I think it doesn't makes any differences, if UE is open or closed.

Hi Chummers, @DCER: Just remember UE will reset the value if you save the file with it, so use WinRar or similar (but NOT WinZip) to add edifice.bst back to stbof.res once you're done. Hi thunderchero, I changed the starting conditions, the starting tech, the structures the minors can build - so no race tries to build the fabricators accidently. I deleted the "upgrading from" for the new buildings and so on (all with the ue, a wonderfull peace of soft, btw). I don't thin...
