Actually I would guess the Ferengi get the least advantage from this since they have the worst system production, and none of their bonuses apply (that I know of... I suppose I'll find out shortly).

Just played 120+ turns in a multiplayer T1, Medium irreg map. Wow. I love the changes. The changes to the manned structures are excellent. It's fixed the tediousness of the early gameplay. In an embarressment to all quarterfinalists everywhere, I got thumped by Macky in 18 turns. His mongol, err, I mean Klingon hordes overran me in short order, and there was nothing I could do about it.

Any luck getting this game going? My game in the bracket above you has yet to happen as I can't get hold of my opponent Serole to play my match this week. If the worst happens, we'll get two defaults and face each other this coming week.

It sounds like the best option then is to make the structures a low power, high expense building for the major powers (or to remove the option from them totally), and can set it to zero power for minors where you HAVE to build the special structure.
