this could have just been a cookie issue. especially if you have been doing a lot of searches on old forum.

just thought the same. I'd flush the cache of the browser first of course. esp when I used the search function of the old forum extensively before. first logical thing to do in my book. esp. after an update...

had to get a new pw to login here, too. But I often had problems with passwords here before. esp since that STM stuff started.

try to get a new pw, too, if you want to use your old name.

he must do this, duplicate accounts are not allowed.

outerexodus, if you need help logging in contact me.

you should be able to request new password though "lost password" on login page.

I will change poster of above post once you get logged in as your original user name and delete the new account.

I like the new password recovery. Much better than the old one, where you got that code first.

This took ages sometimes. wait for the msg with the code... and then wait for the confirmation mail, too. much better now and way way faster, too.

the login is way better, too. finally not that captcha anymore. :D

edit:

while the site seems to be under a bit of load at this moment, downloads are running at max speed for me (got a 6Mbit connection)

I already assumed that downloads are stored somewhere else now. Really nice. The more I look through the page, the more stuff I see that I like. The site comes close to the original and seems to be slightly modded now.

Looks like whatever I did fixed itself. I haven't had another problem.

I like this. Sorry I have not had time to even log into this site since getting me new job, being married, and building my new computer... yes, THAT computer ;)

Resistance, was futile ;) I hope to upload some pics sometime during/after Thanksgiving. Oh, the header cuts off about halfway for me (pic up top).

Im on a 21 inch widescreen which might be the cause. Using Torch browser based on Chromium. I see the logo, the ship, and about 3/4 of the planet, with space on both sides (logo is center of screen)

Looks good so far guys! I've not tried out many of the new functions yet, but I've noticed pages seem to load quite a bit faster.

I think the appearance of the logo with the cutted planet is intended.

Your description sounds exactly as it looks for me.

If there was an error with widescreen, you'd notice it on the normal desktop, too - not just within the browser. What you mean would be 16:9/16:10. As widescreen would cut off the sides. Otherwise it'd be called heightscreen or something ;)

The logo is correct as KrazeeXXL posted this is done to make it some what mobile friendly. also we have other logos with other ship that will be swapped out randomly.

no they are in same place as before, but I think nuke and required registration was effecting downloads.
