Ive done that. Was able to do it on UDML adding a few better ships. Will try again soon

good luck once you add a few ships it get much easier just take your time and watch the prefix and underscore (but that is only way to share a phaser slot)

Maybe im going about this wrong. stbog.res is the file I need to drop the new tga in correct? I've been using 7zip to open it and edit the files. Do you recommend a different app or a method other than copy/paste?

You need either UE or older versions of 7.zip (winzip...) with special settings each (newer versions or wrong setting will corrupt stbof.res via wrong compression for BotF).

I don't know how many bugs is too many but that point is reached somewhere before however many in BotF is.

UE will add files to stbof.res edit/files

all other zip programs will corrupt file

From what I read UE wont add the enlarged tgas and it needs to be done by hand ?

using the tga converter in UE wont let me drop the resized file in the .res as it wont even appear.

Atleast now I know where my problem is so I call that progress.

the "add and remove ship models" function of UE was created before larger resolutions. so it does not know those files are needed.

UE will add any file to stbof.res

Howdy. Six months later I forgot all that I learned. Or atleast how to use UE to add the enlarged TGAs to the res file. Is there a guide on how to do this?
