Do we mention issues we are having on here also? The mods been great, got the game working on Windows 10, but apart from the odd crash, the main issue im having is during ship combat, only 1 enemy ship turns up at a time, even though there are multiple ships in the fleet. Although it makes combat easy for me, it doesnt present much of a challenge. But I will finish with what a great job has been done on this mod.

this sounds like a known issue of task force patch, but only should effects minor races. major races will show with full forces available.

Hi all,

Firstly I'd like to pass on my thanks to everyone here for keeping this awesome game up and running. Was clearing out my old box of PC junk when i found my original BOTF disc and I fondly remembered many hours spent playing so installed it on my Win 10 laptop. Guess you know whats coming now then. Many hours of net hunting led me to your site and ive now followed the instructions and can play for around an hour using voodoo but its started crashing frequently with no warning.

so more reading and it led me to the mpr++ and all the positive things being said about it and if it is still possible i would really appreciate a link to the mpr++ alpha test (or whatever phase its in now)

Thanks in advance

Mitch

Anyone else have the phasers not showing up problem? I can hear them firing but can't actually see them ? Aside from that everything seems to run well on my Windows 10 install after using MPR+ :)

Thanks

EDIT: Should probably mention this is with the UDM conversion.

hi Mitch4270,

welcome to forum links sent,

Hi MogRules,

moved you post to mpr++, since this is mpr++ related

if this is minors on firing this has been reported already if all races it might be video driver related

but mpr++ is in alpha and has several know issues.

It is minors from what I can tell. I presume there was no work around then :p , all good I will make due. Thank you! I realised after I posted I was probably in the wrong thread...
