you should check out the IDA database by QuasarDonkey and there is also one by Spocks-cuddly-tribble it is closest thing to source code we have.

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing
Okay, I just wrapped up my first test game under this patch. I strangely ran into the same crash at one point as I had with my other save on ECML where trying to liberate a minor race crashed the game. However this time after a couple of additional turns it seemed to have fixed itself(?).
Finally, it seems the AI's logic is a little worse off (unless it is my imagination). After slaughtering the Cardy and Ferengi fleets they still steadfastly refused to offer peace or accept my terms. I even snatched up two thirds of the cardy's territory and leveled most of their facilities and they still refused peace. And the Romulans (whom I had literally saved from extinction and liberated) declared war on me with a single scout ship at their disposal!
Lastly, I finally got to attaining my domination victory, but after I clicked yes to accepting the other players surrender the game just crashes. No victory video or anything. I'm thinking this may be directly related to the MPR patch...

this is easy enough to test MPR++ has a save folder in the install path. copy that folder just incase to a safe location (it should not get removed on uninstall) then uninstall MPR++ and load the save before surrender and see if it crashes.mmobley1 wrote:Lastly, I finally got to attaining my domination victory, but after I clicked yes to accepting the other players surrender the game just crashes. The save you should need should be in save slot 2 of normal saves as well.

hm, victory crash was reported two times already, I begin to fear there really is a bug.
mpr++ however has no gameplay affects but purely is a new graphic engine - at least so far

Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing
Just to let everyone know that thanks to Flocke I am now up and running with the mpr++ code myself, and preparing to work on my first task to help make BOTF even BETTER! I am horrible at graphics stuff, and Flocke does such a great job at that. I am thinking I am going to start working on improving some of the gameplay functions. I welcome any suggestions as I move forward. I also welcome any blessings in this endeavor.

I had tested the game, the graphic is terrific but it went non-responsive after I clicked "open hailing frequency". Please take note.
