regarding blurring with original botf, thats a driver issue you can solve by disabling MSAA

Hi Flocke. Please send me the download link too, i would like to have a look at the "new botf".
Another Question: Is the mpr-botf compatible with the UE and the botf-patcher?
Thanks in advance - Thunderchild

Hi Mexxxi,
welcome to the forum
Welcome back Thunderchild
links have been sent to you both.
as for botf-patcher I have not seen any patches that conflict.

only conflict is with mpr++ you can not add ships. they use a completely different format and way they are placed in game. editing stats is ok. all other changes with UE I have seen no problems.Thunderchild wrote:Another Question: Is the mpr-botf compatible with the UE and the botf-patcher?

FWIW, I've been playing mpr++ with the patcher, and have had no issues.

I would love to try out the new graphics, can I have a link to the download?
Re: MPR++ v0.2.6c open for alpha testing
I have added ships (using phasor slot) and changed a few things around for my stbof.res, will the new graphics be ok?

I'll send you the links but nope, unfortunately it won't work with added ships - or say it just won't render them. mpr++ uses Ogre3D mesh format for ships.Smoothie wrote:I have added ships (using phasor slot) and changed a few things around for my stbof.res, will the new graphics be ok?

sure
For multiplayer, be aware mpr++ is not compatible with non-mpr++. That is due to replacement ships.

hi,
all mods for mpr++ run great, but is it possible to change the federation phasers to original red? why are they blue anyway?

lol, yes you can change the color, just search for the image file or the hob mappings in mpr++ folder - shouldn't be too hard to find.
and well they are blue cause in botf vanilla federation always has been blue
