Creating New 3D Ship Designs

Thank you very much Tethys, i would like to see it fighting the borg...
It has 546 polys in 3D max, if im not wrong, when i first attemp to import the ship to creator, in the "INFO-statistics" menu, said it has almost 2100 polys, could be ??? im not shure now.
And i`ll make that modification you mention, i didn´t notice that, because when you are so much time doing something, sometimes you miss obvious thing like that.

In my opinon this is best done in unwrap, I would be happy to take a look at your model since unwrap does not work on vista. (btw unwrap pro 3.0 does work on vista)

thank you very much thunderchero, i´ll make one more attemp to unwrap it in 3d max, i think im making progress, and if it is everything OK, surely i´ll give it to you to make the final conversion.
About the model, it doesn´t have any poly triangles (only four), it has square (is that the word??) polygons.

Well, after hours and hours criying like a baby, i could import from 3d max to creator, 3 textures... for the sake of surak !!!
Here it is what we have now, already imported with GIF textures at 256x256:
So now there´s left to make the final conversion, and i would ask thunderchero´s mercy to help me in this regard. If you don´t have any problem i´ll send you the link to download the files.

Well, i´m too excited to show you the model in the game, i´ve been testing it in almost all major mods, and it worked like a charm.

and yes I have used 5 but try to limit to 4 (256x256 times 4 = 1 512x512 gif pixel wise that is)
BTW I have started to work again on the NX-01 model again
