Camtasia Studio 6 can be found on certain parts of the internet. PM me for more information if you want it.

Thank you very much Peter1981. I appreciate that.

Im working hard to understand this thing of importing the 3D models to Creator 3.0, so the game can understand the z-buffer or something like that. Now im just looking around the world wide web to get that program.

Beside that, im finding some similarities in thunderchero`s tutorial on how to import models and convert them in .hob in Creator, similarities in 3D max program, i don`t know, the heirarchy for example, or the BPS or scaling, but that`s all. Because i can`t use the creator 3.0 (because i don`have it) im working around on how to do it, if it is possoble, all in 3d max.
If someone already tried and know that is impossible please tell me.
Thank you very much

You have been told creator 3.0 is a must have

Edit; I think "GameGen" can create flt files too but never seen this program.

Also the final program needed is HOT to HOB converter

creater is the only program to build up the proper bsp database. btw. anjel you got a pm

i have almost finished making the borgbase's mesh with 3ds max and i screencaptured it all with camtasia. however it may still takes some time to texture, make the bsp database, convert, edit the video and release.

Sorry, i apologize, today won`t be possible to post the progress i made, because i realized that the UV mapping i made in 3D max it`s a little bit more complicated that i thougth to export, so now im triying with ultimate unwrap. The texture in photoshop it`s done, so at least i didn`t lost too much time :?

siggi had same problem what file format do you have model in now? and what are you exporting as?

if you have any problems with conversion let me know it only takes me 20 min any more to convert most clean models.

Thank you very much for the support.

I could fix the problema i had with the exportation from 3D max to creator, the material i use in 3D max must be STANDARD, so the creator can recognize the texture (when i started the model i used MENTAL RAY material), so... problem solved.

But now, as a person who is crazy about details, i made the texture in photoshop at 1024x1024, the image looks good, and i know i have to reduce the texture to 256x256, and well... the image doesn`t look good now, so i`ve thougth i could make more than one UV mapping and i am now with that problem, i`ve never used multiple mapping, so if there is a tip or something you can tell me to help thing faster, it would be really apprecciated.

Here are some images, first the high resolution image at 1024x1024:

Here are the GIF textures at 256x256

well, need some feed back, if you like it, what would modify, or what it`s missing.
As i told i will try to use multiple textures, so the texture would be a little more sharpen.

PD: thunderchero, shurely i would ask you to make the conversion...

:D
