Age of botf players.
I've always been curious about how old botf players are. I know I'm one of the older players at 43.

i note unless someone else is going to weigh in, Mickar would be the most senior member of this outfit... we may have to get a ramp or large font option available here for our senior to facilitate access...

I wonder if Carcher will post - not sure how old he is but must have been great to be around when electricity was a new fangled thing...ruthlessferengi wrote:i note unless someone else is going to weigh in, Mickar would be the most senior member of this outfit...

Well at 33, it would seem I'm a bit above the median age here.
While that doesn't surprise me, what *does* surprise me is the number of us who are in the 19-24 age bracket. Either you guys started playing BOTF at a rather early age (especially for a turn-based strategy title), or you discovered the game somewhat late. I'm curious as to which is the case.

I just turned 23 in Dec 2009, bought the game when I was 13 I think... not too long after it came out... played a handful of games on the old gaming zone under a different username, but mostly sp.Martok wrote:Well at 33, it would seem I'm a bit above the median age here.

You could say I got started off at an early age
Yes carcher will post
i was carbon dated last august and found to be old enough to be suave and sophisticated, a man of great wisdom, a very happy man with a wealth of life experience "under his belt"( in more ways than one )
when you think of me,think of sean connery, george clooney and bruce willis all rolled into one
i came late to botf....ok i came late to computors..but i came to star trek from day one and i've stayed with it ever since
i must admit jomboy the winter nights are a lot warmer since they invented electricity
is there a prize for being the oldest AFC member?

I am 28, been playing this game for 10 years now!!!! I bought it in a multipack of 4 star trek games, there was only this and generations that was any good. I might have to put generations back on if it will work on vista, I only ever completed the game from start to finish once, and I could never do the Crusher or LaForge missions.
