New Star Trek Game Coming Summer 2011

Hi guys,
Have you already heard about the new star trek game which will allegedly be released this summer?

What are your first impressions?
Do you think it could be similar in gameplay to botf? or armada ? Or star trek online, which has become quite successful meanwhile.

it's a browsergame, and the models are, once you zoomed in, quite low res.

i tend to be critical. probably some kind of armada

It doesnt look too bad, great for a free browser game. Graphics arent any worse than vanilla Botf Breen! Lol! They are actually not bad at all

not bad at all, graphics looks really good, like armada but with bump and lights effects, that gives a low poly mesh and textured ship much more realism. And the most important of all, it is free !!! and developed for all to enjoy, let hope it keeps that way...
I will always welcome new iniciatives from people who makes things free for all.

I won't mind paying for computer games worth playing but lately the star trek games all suck....it's either arcade or shoot to kill...I miss the Star Trek 25th Anniversary or A Final Unity type of ST games.

I'm having trouble viewing the ships on this site. I downloaded the graphic which will allow me to view them, but it is still not working.

Just saw the video. Just imagine if those were our BotF combat. That would be freaking amazing. Then again, I find it really slow now for me, I would hate to see how long combat would take.

Then again, I would hope coding would be better now for faster then.

Having problems with the Unity3d player that you need to download to view the ships in the game info section. windows security called it a malfunctioning or malicious malware addon.
Seems either windows security or Avast is blocking this application.

Will the game be playable? I have doubts for me atleast.

Not a good sing is it eh? People already having problems just to "view" it. Imagine when it comes down to playing the game.

I hope someone is telling the creators that there is problems just viewing it.

Cool, looks promising. Most of the free games I've played end up being better then the ones you have to buy or pay to play since they aren't on a lousy budget or producers can't pay rent and about to lose their game studio.

I signed up for testing though I won't be sending in a copy of anything. If they don't pick me oh well.

Intro vid was quite a tease. Too bad you can only play Federation or Klingon from the start when they advertise Cardassians too.
