Have a strange recurring error concerning 'buy' command

Hi all,

I've got an odd error, which keeps cropping up, where I try to buy the current upgrade on a planet and one of two things happens;

- It doesn't buy it
- It doesn't buy it but does remove the money from my account

Anyone have this problem before, or any fixes?

Do you have any mods? If so what mod you playing.

Also is this a minor race you are trying to buy for? I have problems sometimes of a minor planet being stuck for over 15 turns trying with 1 turn to build something. This is a known bug, so I try to reduce the amount of workforce there, (doesn't work) or I try to buy it, works sometimes, or like you, it takes the money but is not built (works sometimes, or I try to destroy some buildings so it's under the certian bug number threshold (forget what it was, 29 or something like that).

So are you playing a mod? If so, which one, and what are you trying to buy and how many turns left over?

I'm not running any mods, and I did look through that section, but failed to find the post. My incompetance strikes again!

Sounds like the building upgrade bug. If you attempt to upgrade buildings (especially industry) and the cost is over 65535, then you'll almost always get stuck.

Here's the fix.

I've done a couple of high-cost upgrades now with no ill effects. The mod worked
