How can I play BOTF on Vista

Hi Guys. Hope you can help. I wanna play BOTF on Vista. I have installed the game but I get the error "trek.icd has stop working"

Can anyone helpme so I can Play this game as I used to do on Windows 98.

first uninstall cd version of game and if uninstall did not remove BOTF folder from install location delete folder.

next download the multi installer. https://www.armadafleetcommand.com/onsc ... ls&lid=143

install with vanilla option

thats it, all patches are already in new installer and no cd is needed.

also this will allow most mods to be installed.
