In English please! Install Procedure.

Ok, after reading most of the posts and digging out my copy of BOTF, I was wondering if someone can please explain the proper install procedure for BOTF?

By this I mean with the UDM that I've been reading so much about.

Hi whammo11224,

Welcome to the forums. You have arrived at an exciting time. Anyway, you need to check out this link for the 1.0.2 patch multi installer (the one with the star next to it at the top of the page:

Then install the multi version of UDM III. The link can be found in the UDM III thread in Modding, or both links (1.0.2 multi patch and multi UDM III mod) can be found in thunderchero's signature line.

What is "Multi"?

(Veterans--correct me if I am wrong) Simply put, install the 1.0.2 patch and you can have several multi mods (of your choosing, simply download them) installed at the same time with only one BOTF installation.

Install this
https://www.armadafleetcommand.com/botf ... it&lid=143

then install this
https://www.armadafleetcommand.com/botf ... it&lid=148

This will get you the complete BOTF game, and the UDM mod on your PC

Please help. I followed the above instructions twice and both times I have received corrupted file error messages.

you'll need to redownload the files, maybe want to look into a download manager, as corrupte files only occur with slow internet connections ( if i remember correctley )

Yes, I've redownloaded the files a few times. Same result. I have roadrunner internet. What is a download manager and where do I find one?

I would type in "download manager" or "free download manager" in google and take a look at some of the results...

if you use firefox I would suggest you to use "down them all". It's a nice plugin. Like it.
