Birth of the Federation

Hi,

First of all I just want to say thank you to all of you who maintain this site and provide the downloads to anybody who wants them. I bought this game when it first came out, but lost it since then. I had been dieing to play it again and came across this site. I downloaded the game and installed, no problems.

Today I started having this problem where an enemy race comes into my sector. I select the fight option, but my first choice once the screen loads is to open hailing frequencies. The enemy chooses to retreat, but the game freezes and crashes during this process. I came back to this site and installed Joker's patch, but that didn't fix the problem.

I'm sorry if this has been posted about and covered in the past, I searched for it but couldn't find anything.

try multi installer version with hades 1.1 included or hades 2.2

deinstall game completely, all patches included et cetera pp *yawn*

btw tactical combat crashes are unfortunately normal in the game. search the forums, there's a lot of stuff about this problem...

The Hades patch worked. Thank you.
