Sounds like you're just having a quiet game ... lucky you
It's uncannily quiet. oh bugger I'm now worried on a number of levels. what viscious curve ball is it about to hurl at me?
*imagines all the random monsters huddled up in a dark corner of the galaxy discussing how they're going to all come and hit you at once*

Can you please tell me how to do that (meaning which values I have to change in Trek.exe)? I can't find a post here where it is described...

you should be able to change that in UE (i'm using UE 1.07dev11e)

load stbof.res into UE and select

EDIT -> GALAXY -> STELLAR OBJECTS

in the dropdown box select 'Red Giant'
in the box below the word Frequency: change to 0.00 (vanilla value is 0.15) and click the 'Apply' Button

the sum of the probabilities is re-calculated (it will now be less than 1)
select other sellar objects and adjust there probabilities until the sum is 1.

select FILE -> SAVE when you done.

Hope this helps you burashkukor
