1; I don't think any monster moves in combat.

2; only use 1 of jokers patches, and must be installed before mod.
no other patch is needed

Erm, actually Thunderchero, the Echo papa drone moves in combat, bloody thing's hard to hit.

I've noticed on my travels through UE that most monsters have their Agility set to zero, though i'll bet there's something more than simply changing the value of that to get the moving.

And lets face it, what wold be the point of getting a Borg cube to move anyway? The thing's so big it's easier to hit than a cow's arse with a banjo weather it moved or not.

Finished a game as the Feds with no crashes or other glitches. Great mod. Thank you for re-inventing an older game. :D

Just a note of information: The corrected version of UDM III 3.0.H containing thunderchero's fix for the special ship slots is now available for download on my 4shared site, too (Thanks for the quick work, pal).

Sorry for any inconvenience this bug may have caused.

Thank you for the information. I bought this game way back when it came out and couldn't recall if monsters moved or not. I was aware of only using 1 patch just was not sure of the order. This is the 1st time I've added a mod to this particular game. Thanks for the mod and all the help.

how do i integrate this rar file into UDM3 G?

If You did not figured it out yet just unrar (unzip) It will create a folder with UDMIII3.0.h.exe, jokers old and new patch, readme and instructions for manual install if needed. then just run installer

thats it, I just put in to a rar file to include other files in one download.

I just thought about something, this is the first mod to have 131 ships in game :lol: :lol:

hey i keep getting a crash when certain Command vessels do the Evade maneuver. twice with the Warbird III and once with a Card Attack Cruiser II. the crash log says File: tcmath\tcmath.c, Line: 34, REAL_GE_ZERO(value) for all three instances.

when replayed did it keep crashing? if it does send me the saved game file please.

@San_Greal,

evade with the higher poly models causes random crashes this been a trade off for better looking models. but even vanilla has had this problem if too many ship are set to evade.

There are a few really odd things that have happened when playing UDM3-H, wonder if you can help me :)

Playing as Cards, I was invading a minor, who had 4 orbital batteries, and 700 ground combat. So, I grouped 4 scouts to act as flack against the orbs, and used about 5 TT's to give ground combat of approx 2200. Easy invasion I thought, but they repelled it!

Next thing, I attacked a Dominion system that had 1 orb battery, with 14 Attack Cruiser 3's (1000 hull/1000 shields). The 1 orb battery destroyed 4 of these heavily armoured ships, any particular reason why they are super orbitals? :)

You have done really well in making such a mod, you deserve many thanks. This sort of thing though does put me off UDM as a multiplayer alternative.

Please take this as a constructive criticism!

ive crashed when using evade
