BOTF multiseat configuration and solutions can be applied like i try in Warzone 2100 ? Well, two mouse pointers on a multiseat system without a program will remain a work in progress... But a Botf multiseat with 2 opened Botf games opened on the same computer can be done ? Read please the below Warzone 2100 topic i made :

But of course, now i'm installing Userful Multiplier in Ubuntu (it will become of course a new Edubuntu in a new partition). Gonna see if that works. In windows, Botf cannot run in multiple instances, someone could do it, i think...

Playing BotF with two empires at the same time is quit interesting. I Hope there'll be a way without external programs in the near future.

BOTF MP with only one computer

One simple solution, today tested in Windows 7. The idea is, that you can actually open BOTF one time per user account in Windows.

1. Creature a second User Account, if you don't already have one.
2. Start first trek.exe, create a MP game via TCP/IP.
3. Change User Account (the first BOTF runs in the background of the first user account).
4. Start trek.exe, join your MP via TCP/IP.

That's it! Now you can play MP, for example Team Play with only one computer. Just switch between the different user accounts while playing.
