This installer works so well. I can play all mods no issue at all. However, I have a problem with GUI for 1920 x 1080 resolution looks so generic and terrible. I miss the original GUI that can found in 800 x 600. I remember the old 1080 patch containing the original GUI? What happened to them?

nope, it was always the generic GUI at 1920 x 1080 and only one that has been created. now the 1366 x 768 is a full original type GUI

HI! I just noticed that version 2.0.0 has been released. That is exciting! I still play a lot with the previous version so (mostly Ultimate Dominion MOD Large), in order to install this, should I remove the previous one or can they both coexist?

Can I keep my previous saved games and copy them in the new folders?

correct, you need to uninstall previous version before installing new version (even tools some command line prefixes changed)

no, UDM had changes that would make saves not compatible.

I've played BOF since its inception, so I was excited to see this. However, when I load the game and tried to start, the majority painted off the edge of the screen which tells me I am doing something wrong. I couldn't see any of the functional buttons like starting a new game. Could I get some help? Thanks.

from your description it sounds like your windows scale is above 100%

Hello

I just clean installed the BOTF All In One on a Windows10-64bit full HD screen computer, with the 1920 patch enabled.
But the graphics look pretty bad.

I tried attaching the 3MB .png file, but it was too large.
Either way, you can see the low quality, plus missing red yellow green lines, with the multigrid-lines thingamajig on sector Romulus.

I have the latest Intel HD graphics drivers installed.
I saw a post referring to 'MPR++', but that was 2012, so not sure if still relevant.
There was also a mention of disabling 'morphological filtering', but i don't have a GPU on this machine.

Are you able to advise please?

Hey,
I've missed this game for so many years, I love it to death.
Now thanks to this website I have the opportunity to again.
I'm having issues though.
IMAC late 2015 27", 3.3GHz quad core intel I5, 16gb memory, big sur.

As with my previous attempt on prev version of mac software I do everything in the description and yet it loads the microprose banner and main video but then as soon i press space or mouse click it dies with an error.
Some how it once went to the main screen with music and I clicked for the new game and hen it died, that was once.

One thing I cannot find an option for is "directplay" option to check as I don't have control panel on mac.

I would love more than anything to get this game working and to see these mods for the first time.

Hi everyone. first of all, THANK YOU for the amazing job you did with BOTF. Like many others, I installed the new multi installer which is amazing. I installed the game, no problems while installing. i ran across a problems with every MOD i tried. Every time the game would crash, sometimes it crashes after only a few turns, sometimes it takes longer. I am playing on a laptop, with NVIDIA and RADEON graphics. did any one else come across this problem and if so, how did you solve it. I am running WIN Home edition.

This game is not void of all crashes, but most times it would be after 100 - 200 turns.

since game is loading, first thing I would suggest would be be to check if download got corrupted or redownload installer and reinstall.

does install path of mod have any crash log?

you can also check windows "event viwer log"

a description of when crashes are happening might also help. example, turn processing, clicking on button, entering into build screen.

Strange question, does anyone have a link to AIO 1.0.1 please?
2.0 is great but there are too many things that are causing me issue in game. I have tried to edit but cant get around my issues. I don't recall having as much trouble with 1.0.1.

Unfortunately I have lost 1.0.1 as have changed laptops a few times since I last downloaded it.
